I waited over two years to get the Amazon Basics Monitor Stand, and it was totally worth it. My work got better and faster since I started using it. The stand is strong, and I can adjust the height of my monitor. Plus, it keeps my desk neat with space underneath. It’s a great buy! It’s easy to assemble you can refer to the booklet or search YouTube for tutorials, All the accessories for assembling are provided in the box.

Me ha sorprendido para bien el material, el diseño, los detalles plásticos para tapar la tornillería y los soportes para sujetar pasar y sujetar los cables. Todas las piezas vienen muy bien ordenadas en bolsas numeradas y el manual de instrucciones para su montaje en castellano y una explicación perfecta, Un 10. La pieza VESA que se atornilla al monitor, perfecta, incluso trae arandelas de plástico para no arañar el monitor por detrás. Le voy a poner dos anotaciones algo negativas pero no concluyentes: el movimiento del brazo es algo duro y el anclaje de la pieza VESA al brazo tiene holgura. Es decir, una vez que el monitor está anclado al brazo, si tiras hacia ti de la parte de abajo del monitor, este cabecea un poco hacia delante y detrás. Tenlo en cuenta a la hora de nivelar porque aunque el brazo esté perfectamente vertical, el monitor se inclina unos milímetros hacia delante debido a esa holgura. Se soluciona inclinando hacia atrás el último tramo del brazo. Ñ Por cierto, también permite girar el monitor. El torno que se sujeta a la mesa también es robusto y permite la sujeción en mesas delgadas y muy gruesas gracias a sus tres alturas. Un buen detalle de diseño. Por si te has fijado es importante que sepas cuánto pesa tu monitor. Este soporte es para monitores de menos de 8 kilos. Recomendable y satisfecho con la compra pero el fabricante debería corregir esa pequeña holgura. Precio y calidad muy equilibrado. Lo compré por 33€.

I was in the market for an arm for my 24” second monitor and this one came up. It’s pretty easy to assemble, and its super sturdy. Also very adjustable, although I wish it was ever so slightly higher, that is just a personal preference based on my main monitor. However, it’s still really great for how affordable it is. At the highest setting it does ever so slightly bend (shown in one of the photos) although it doesn’t seem to effect the structural integrity at all. It’s nice that you can adjust the tilt tension as well so if you have a heavier monitor, it won’t tilt under it’s own weight. Overall, looks great, has cable management features (don’t mind the one cable, it’s my hdmi and is not long enough to reach the back of the monitor if I feed it through the stand) and it works well. I give it 5 stars just because you can’t beat it at this price point.

Tis is not new to me. I am using a table mount from 2014 but at that time there was very few options and most of the good quality stand available only from international e-sellers with a very high cost. But thanks to YouTube it gained popularity and thanks to amazon for bringing it at a decent prize. In the box you will get all necessary items including the manual which are neatly packed and organized with numbers. Any one can easily install it by following the instructions.
To install it from the back end of your desk, make sure the desk has approx. 8cm clearance for the clamp to attach. Otherwise it will not get space to hold the desk properly.
Pros: 1. Very nice fit and finish and sturdy design. There are three screws at the bottom to hold the central stand. As a result the stand not going to tilt due to weight of the monitor. I am using it with LG 29 inch ultrawide and my old arm started to tilt because of weight. 2. The arm is divided in two joined pieces which you can be removed via removing the screw to reduce the size of the arm. I have done this so that the monitor remains closer to the stand and you can see it in the image. By default it is attached which gives you a very long horizontal arm for more flexibility. 3. Every single tool you need is provided in the package. You don’t need a single thing extra to assemble it. 4. Nice cable management solution. There is a cutout at the base of the central stand to route all the cables for monitor connection. After installation it looks clean and managed. This is a key USP for this stand after the sturdiness of the arm. 5. Some rubber cushions (with adhesive base) are included which can be used so that when you install it on your desk, the surface of the desk not get scratched. because of the pressure.
Cons: 1. Nothing but if I nitpick then I would say the smoothness of all the hinges. It is very tight and moves without a smooth continuous motion. But my brain is telling me it is not expected from a 2k priced monitor arm.
Conclusion: Go for it if you want a clean looking desk. It also adds flexibility to your monitor. And don’t cheap-out your monitor stand because those cheaper ones are less sturdy.

I bought it since I want to build a WFH and productivity setup. This monitor arm is just fine since it gets the job done which you expect from any standard monitor arm. Build sturdy and the quality is also fine. However, I received a completely different piece than what they showed on the product ad. The original amazon basics monitor arm which they showed on the website comes with a compartment to hide your cables inside the standing bar, wheels as the one which i got doesn’t have that. Rest all looks absolutely fine. I feel the price could be little low for what they’re offering in this package!!

Was using this earlier with a 24 inch monitor and this was holding up very well. Recently upgraded to a 27 inch monitor and there’s a bit of tilt probably due to the weight of the monitor. The monitor tilts a little downward and no amount of tightening can hold it upright. I have tried the instructions for attaching heavier monitors and still this falls short.

I bought this model when it came as one of the recommendations for monitor stands. I wanted a compact but sturdy stands for my lightweight Zebronics monitor which was installed with a CCTV DVR. It was so good that I purchased one more for my work table.
PROS- 1. Easy to assemble- A simple design, well-labelled pouches for screws and parts and a detailed manual- all help. Installation is around 15 minutes the first time, and then hardly 5 minutes. 2. Sturdy- All parts are of very good quality, including plastics. The stand is hefty and sturdy. 3. Compact- A simple design with cleverly routed cable pathways make for a very compact layout. The way these stands clamp to the edge of tables makes them very compact (~ 0.5 inch behind the table to 1.5″ on to the table). 4. Easy to adjust- moving around, swiveling and height adjustment are all mostly tool-less. 5. Cheap- for 1999 one cannot complain. I love Amazon for making stuff like this available. These are hard to find or select in offline stores.
CONS- 1. Single base makes this best suited for lighter monitors. Heavy monitors may have problems when the rubber pads in the seating clamp wear out. 2. The basic design of the swivel arm is such that the monitor comes toward you. This can cramp the setup on smaller tables. It is no problem on lighter monitors as you can set the vertical stand on one side and extend the swivel arm to one side. Since my monitors are very light weight, it is no problem. 3. Vertical angle adjustment needs the Allen tools (provided, but nonetheless, not tool-less).
RECOMMENDATION: This is a must have on work tables. Most of us use smaller monitors (< 17") and need the depth of the table to be clean. This stand has made my table-top clean and neat. That is what I find most attractive, and I guess you would too.
