Much faster than SATA. It benchmarked just slightly less than advertised. But not by much. Its refreshing to see Debian 12 boot on 15 seconds. I would buy Lexar again.

After having tried a couple “off” brands that did nothing but have write errors, I decided to go with a brand I’d heard of – and I’m not disappointed. This little 2TB flash drive is *FAST*, small (tiny, really), and works flawlessly – and I’ve been stress testing it with a gigs of reads/writes per day. My next external flash drive will definitely be another Lexar.

The SSD is fast enough to be called a ssd unlike the cheap ones that are just for the name sake. the brand stand to its name and the price is affordable to turn any old dusty laptop or PC into working rig again like i did with my 13 year old samsung laptop. Installation took only 5 minutes thanks to samsung’s ease of changing HDD and windows was up and running within 15 minutes.
