Using it for more than a month now, works lightning fast when plugged into USB 3.0 port and USB C port.
I am using it for photo transfers, getting consistent write speeds upto 320MBps.
Yes it does get bit warm after using for several hours straight, I would use it cautiously if working outdoors under sunlight.
I dunno if its issue with my system, for some reason I am only getting 150 to 170MBps write speed while working with videos. Still lot faster than using portable mechanical HDD.
Overall, a, superb product by Samsung.
