     Edit: 8th July 2023
Returned the mouse long back as it had very high click latency as per some reviews online. Hence got Lamzu atlantis mini which is a lot better than this. But the hyper x is still a great mouse for the price it’s offered at.

I got my first one and it had a dpi issue where the dpi would reset by itself. So first the mouse will feel it’s lagging and then it will stop working for 2 seconds and you’ll get a notification from ngenuity that dpi has been set to 700 or whatever you had set it to. Note that the fw was already updated as you can’t use ngenuity without updating the firmware.

I got a replacement and that didn’t have the same issue. So I’m assuming it’s the first few batches that were affected.

I saw this issue was reported on reddit as well back in april 2023.

However, now coming to the good things.
I’ve used the haste wireless 1 hence i wanted to get something with the latest sensor, light weight, with rgb and dpi button without getting used to a whole new shape. Also under 6-7k.

So I’m very glad hyperx got the 3395 sonsor on this and they made it very affordable as similar mice for same spec will cost at least 1500 to 2000 more. Lamzu Atlantis for example.

Also we do have very limited options available in india for the 3395 at the moment.

Razor, logitech will cost you almost double.

So at the moment this is the best wireless mouse you can get under 7k without any compromises in India 🇮🇳.

I got it for 6.3k and it just launched few weeks back so great deal TBH.

It came with the extra ptfe skates and grip tapes. Which was the case for previous version as well.

Also comes with a type c to a usb dongle.

So getting those for this price is a great ad on too.

In terms of battery you can expect around 70-80 hours of gameplay using the 2.4ghz dongle.

So i most play csgo and like 4-5 hours daily. So it’s good that i won’t have to charge this more than twice a month approximately.

No quality issue with the body of the mouse. It’s quite solid.

I wish they had made it with honeycomb shell to reduce the weight even further. But i guess since everyone is moving on from that trend so it’s cool.

Without grip tape it’s around 61 Grams. With grip tape it’ll be around 65grams.

Anything under 65g is acceptable for me.

I’m a relaxed palm grip user with 18.5cm by 10cm hand size.

However another point to note, i had some issue with my pulsefire haste wireless 1 and the support was denied by bangalore service center as they said the serial number has some issue.

I got it sorted in a different way. 😂

So hoping that i won’t have the same issue with this one in case i need warranty support.

Verdict: go for it without a second thought if the size and shape is for you. Probably get the black one as the white one will get dirty so soon and it’ll be very difficult to keep it tidy.

This review is coming from someone who has tried 20+ mice. I have small hands, so most mice forced me to palm grip them.

The original Pulsefire Haste was the perfect mouse, albeit too big for my hand size. I found mice that were too large made it hard for me to consistently microadjust. I settled on the viper mini, which allowed to me climb to LEM in CSGO in just under 6 months from MG1.

The Viper Mini signature edition was a major letdown to the entire mouse community, given the limited quantities and high price point. Don’t even get me started on the Cobra Pro.

HyperX has made an amazing contender to the Viper Mini, with this mouse being my new main. If you’re looking to replace your aging Viper Mini, do not hesitate to give this mouse a try. It’s very similar in shape.

I recently upgraded my gaming mice with the Pulsefire Haste 2 , and let me tell you, it’s been a game-changer. Coming from using the g402 and g502 as my daily drivers, the weight drop on this mouse felt amazing. At around 2700 or something, this wired one is seriously lightweight.

That 8k polling hertz, its just a gimmick max you can go upto is 2K realistically; I’ve got a Ryzen 9 5900x and a 3070ti, and let me tell you, with this setup, most titles runs fine; where you dont need much fps but in Valorant increasing polling rate won’t affect your gaming experience much unless you’re at a LAN event.

But let’s talk about the switch. While some say that this mouse has good switches, I’d argue that Logitech’s switches are still superior. The ones on this mouse feel tight and less spammy compared to Logitech.

Overall, I’ve been loving this mouse. It’s lightweight, responsive, and perfect for long gaming sessions. If you’re looking to take your gaming to the next level, give the [insert mouse model here] a try.

It’s lightweight and decent but the scroll wheel quality is atrocious. It is a common issue where the scroll wheel jitters or lags and goes the opposite direction every time

A fantastic wireless mouse in this price range going against the Viper V2 Pro and the G Pro. It’s very light. Easy buy for anyone looking for a (budget?) esports grade wireless mouse.

The shape (a little too wide and flat on the sides) can throw some people off but if you’ve tried the previous version and liked it, this is definitely a solid upgrade in terms of sensor and the hole-less design. The box also contains high quality grip tapes and replacement skates. The Ngenuity software is neat and easy to configure the mouse with.

Overall, very happy with the product

If you are looking for a good FPS mouse and don’t mind it being wired, this mouse is great. Very low sensor latency, 8k polling rate and good build quality for the price. My only gripe with this mouse is the mouse wheel is not the best and has had an issue since the original haste where your mouse wheel will start jumping in the opposite direction that you are scrolling. The scroll encoder does not appear to be shield very well, so any little dirt, cat or dog hair will get in and cause this problem (happened on both of mine, I have a cat).

If you are a competitive gamer who wants something with high end performance for quite a less amount of money instead of getting a flagship like g pro, this is yours.

Equipped with the latest 3395 sensor and 8khz polling rate capability, the raw performance of this mouse far exceeds anything else you can get for this price point. As of now the wired version has the best sensor rating of any mouse of all time(rtings) . That should give you enough reason to not doubt the capabilites of this mouse.

However I should say that if your Cpu is on the older side, 8kz might be taxing, and will reduce your FPS, especially if the game doesn’t support it. So I recommend turning off 8khz and use 4kz unless the game explicitly supports it(for example in valorant you can get the 8kz benefit by turning on raw input buffer, else your FPS will drop hard).

The build quality is also excellent, mouse is built like a brick even if it’s only 52g and no holes too.

Cable is flexible and doesn’t drag so the mouse feels wireless.

The mouse feet are also upgraded and glide real smooth.

The clicks are pretty heavy but still spammable. Click latency is also fine.

Overall a great mouse for an even greater price and knowing hyperx prices will drop even more later so if you’re looking to buy it just go for it.
