I bought just the gas piston part of this mount to use on my VIVO stand because I was tired of having to manually adjust the VIVO arm anytime I needed to raise or lower the monitor. This is one of the most high quality arms for the price I have ever used. Rock solid, great cable management, and the VESA mounting plate and screws that come with it are very secure. I have this on a relatively light 27in monitor and it holds it extremely steadily with absolutely no wobble at all. Highly recommend.

Of course, this works as it should with a HyperX Armada monitor stand. I have a 27″ Asus TUF monitor hooked to it and there are no problems.
