Laptop looks and feels very premium, and performance is very cool as well. If you are in a room with A/C or cooler, you will never have any heating issues. Despite of having H series processor, it doesn’t go too hot(my other machines did).
BUT
Keyboard was made logicless, I have lot of difficulty when I’m using Shift key, or the arrow keys. I can’t press Shift+Fn+right_arrow together, which is really bad for my coding experience. Camera is totally useless, you move in front of your camera and it will record the movement after ages!

Except the keyboard and the camera, I liked almost everything in the laptop. Even after having good amount of stuff in my browser, it opens within 100-200ms after I click, which is pretty awesome.
It also have built-in screen recorder, which records in really good quality and without watermarks.

I would recommend this if you don’t have serious problem with camera or keyboard.
Overall nice and premium product.

Update after using 4+ months
Good stuff
– The screen is just too good and still feels so premium.
– Processor have just won my heart, I’m using this for multi tasking etc, And it just runs extremely good no lags and no issues. I liked that they have 8 ram sticks of 2 gb each.
Bad notes
– The trackpad is not upto the expectations(as per my case), I have to clean it again and again even if there is very little moisture in my hands and I’m using it for few minutes trackpad starts behaving unexpectedly.

Additional Notes(For gaming)
As you can already guess the laptop isn’t made for gaming, but people like me would still try, so here something for you if you play games occasionally.
I tried 3 games, Volarant(didn’t run), Rocket League and CS:GO
It’s not too good, but yeah in medium settings you can get 60+ fps for rocket league and similar for CSGO, it works pretty well for occasional gamers.

Honor MagicBook X16 is super fast. Looks classy, design is amazing and with great display as well. It comes with the Backlit keyboard which makes typing very convenient during night time. My design software installations happened in seconds. Fingerprint login is fast.Speakers and sound dynamics is really good. The webcam is amazing with HD quality. It comes with a super fast 65W type C charger, which is amazing , the size is ok to fit in my extension. Overall the battery back is really good , i used it for continuously 10- 12 hours, meanwhile playing games and videos as well.I must say this has to be the best 12th Gen i5 laptop in this price range in the market, that too with 16 Inch big display. Great product from Honor. Below is my observation for this laptop

1. In few days of usage – In my day too day task with mutiple applications opens at times, no heating issues observed.

2. While charging and keeping laptop on bed which blocks the heat vent to make the charging portion is not warm.

3. The webcam is good for my office online meetings and family calls, the picture quality with the digital webcam is perfect

4. The finger trackpad size is decent and supports multi gesture

6. Best one is the charging port that is type-C which is used in other multiple task as well as charging

7. Few keyboard keys are designed smaller to work with ease and numeric keypad is added in this model.
