I’m not professional or anything, I was looking for a monitor for my laptop to do stuff lowkey and this I found is perfect and does everything I want it to do- games, web-surfing, coding once in a while, movies. heck if there’s anything this monitor can’t do. If you have a very specific need or if you’re looking for quality, then I recommend yall this monitor, built is great, packaging was great, sound quality is good, loud enough to fade laptop’s jet noise during gameplays, and of course color quality. Also, it fits perfectly on my desk, without the ergo arm.

Mac user, first time buying third party Monitor, now very happy with Designer Monitor after initial monitor delivered during Christmas period had a faulty hdmi socket (essential for connecting to 2015 macbook pro & mac mini m2) and was replaced instantly. Since when, Totally positive experience. Early days, but very impressed with Monitor’s clarity, puck key & colour correction modes & excellent pixel quality, altho’ still getting use to the matt screen; love the neatness & flexibility of the clamp-on ergo arm and swivel facility, with reassuringly solid & smooth movement, espec. as cables neatly stored in arm. Built in speaker, basic – so bluetoothing to an external, is for me an everyday essential – but hey, didn’t buy it for its sound. Reassuring BenQ 2 year guarantee works for me: Looking forward to giving it a full work out over coming months. Very pleased with purchase, very pleased I accepted a replacement not a refund 👍

Best product at this price range, little heavy weight which provides sturdiness. Picture quality is awesome. Good for both coders and designer, comes with all essential cables. If you’re laptop has type c port then you don’t need your charger anymore this Monitor can connect using type c cable to your laptop and at the same time charge your laptop.

The monitor is nice and easy to use. Plenty of feature is provided. Works well on macbook via usb c, easy to connect. Works nice with pc desktop via dp cable and hdmi.

I bought this partially for the KVM feature, but mostly after a really bad experience with Dell monitors (they used to be great but the last one I bought was really obnoxiously, headache-inducing bad).

Initially, it produced really weird colours and I had to run Apple’s calibration utility multiple times before I was happy with it, but once that was done, the colour reproduction was great. The surface lighting is very even and the blacks are nice and deep for an LCD display (they’re never totally perfect due to how LCD panels work, but this was pretty close).

The controls are pretty nice, with a couple of buttons and a joystick on the back of the monitor for controlling its functions. I much prefer that to buttons alone where you can get quickly confused if you’re pressing the right button or not, and the monitor’s menus seem to be fairly sensibly arranged. There’s also a “hotkey puck” provided, which I can see being useful for people who may need to change the monitor’s configuration frequently, but I didn’t find it all that useful and just haven’t bothered with it. It’s not a bad idea, just not something I can make much use of.

The KVM feature means I can easily switch between my USB-C/Thunderbolt-enabled personal laptop and the legacy USB/HDMI laptop provided by work without a whole lot of hassle. There are even Picture in Picture and Picture By Picture modes as well, but they feel a bit gimmocky and not of much use in the real world. it did mean running a load of cables from the monitor though. That’s not the monitor’s fault, it’s just the facts when dealing with a machine where video and data are different connectors and require both a USB and a HDMI cable for the KVM functionality to work (plus all the input devices that are now connected to the monitor). So I’m not going to fault the monitor for that.

One thing I will fault it for though is the ridiculous chin it has running along the bottom, it would give Jay Leno an inferiority complex! I also don’t see any need for it being there, as I know the top-end version of this monitor doesn’t have a chin, so it must have been purely a design choice. Honestly it’s a bad one. It looks really out of place.

Additionally, whilst the monitor does have on-board speakers, they can hardly be described as hi-fi. They’re really tinny and not very pleasant to listen to. All I can say for them is that they’re better than nothing, and just about good enough for video conferencing.

There’s software you can install, Display Pilot, that’s supposed to support some additional functionality, However, it just seemed to spam my monitor’s colour profile list, and the one function I wanted it for (automatic re-orientation of the display when you mode from landacape to portrait) didn’t seem to work. It could be that it’s because I’ve put the monitor on a VESA arm instead of using the supplied stand, but I didn’t feel much urge to experiment with that. It’s functionality I can live without.

Overall, very happy with this monitor so far, lets just hope it doesn’t develop the annoying traits that its predecessor did that made me ditch Dell.

Everything is great, but the speakers and peak brightness could be improved. The pricing could also be more competitive.

The monitor works fantastic! Colours are great! The screen is matte in texture.

Usb C cable is high speed and charges my MacBook. Also supports data transfer from the hub on the monitor.

The stand included works great and its rotation (tilt, swivel, rotation) is smooth, well balanced and the base does not shift around on the table.

I have had some issues with the USB Hub. A reset usually fixes it.

The app provided works well but isn’t the best.

The picture quality is good, 4K makes text very crispy, the hockey puck is useful to change monitor settings, quality of the stand and display Color are great. The monitor is fat (thick) when compared to competitors which was a bit surprising for me. Otherwise value for money in my point of view.

I use this with a M2 Mac mini(over USB C) and a desktop PC (over HDMI). Monitor quality is superb and the arm is sturdy. Although its mounted on a standing desk, it doesn’t wobble and the movement is smooth.
The tension is just right allowing me to make adjustments with just 1 finger unlike other mounts I have used earlier.
Image quality is excellent, haven’t tested for gaming though.
