I have tried couple other cases for my mac between $20-$30 and the quality was same as this Spigen case. I wouldn’t pay $55 for this quality.

I bought another expensive and highly rated case first and was completely disappointed with the way the case fit so I returned it and ordered this one, and I am glad I did. It cost just a little more but is way ahead of the other case in fit, function, and appearance. The textured fabric outer cover is definitely very grippy and solid feeling, and I couldn’t envision ever accidentally dropping your expensive MacBook due to lack of grip. The only drawback is I can’t see the beautiful Midnight color on the outside of the computer but the case is actually very attractive and protective and that’s a pretty good tradeoff. Definitely the most bang for your buck

I did not need to use the adhesive that comes with it (yet). One corner in the bottom piece is a bit loose, but I don’t think that is going to be a problem.
Otherwise, I think, the case does the job in the best way possible. The finish is fabric. Feels nice to touch. Retains the aesthetics of the machine. It covers all sides except the opening for ports. Mac opens and closes with one hand, no issues there either.
And about the price, I got it for 2500/-. For the price I paid for the Mac, I don’t have any qualms.

I’m not the one to write many online reviews but I must for this. I’m loving the look and it’s feels. Although I haven’t dropped my laptop anywhere, it sure feels that it wouldn’t do much damage. Definitely worth it for me!

It’s well constructed …fit is almost perfect….looks are not so great as it has a plasticky appearance.
Also within a short period it had developed scratches on the surface that give it a poor appearance not expected of a Spigen product for which we pay a premium amount. Hence changing my review to one star.
